• (By Telegraph.) (United Press Association.) Wellinotos; Friday. The Supreme Court was occupied all day yesterday in the hearing; pi charges of embezzlement 'preferred' against Edward J.Bobinson,formerly shipping., clerk in the Customs Department. The jury]' retired at 9,80 p.m., and at midnight, not having arrived at a decision were locked up for the night,

This inormng Anthony Johnson, for larceny, got twelve months; Albert Norman, for jewellery robbery at Palrnerston North, two years; William Montagu and Martin Burns, for breaking and entering, two years each, In the case of Edward John Robinson, embezzlement of customs, the jury, after being locked up all night, were unable to agree, and were discharged, A new trial will take place at next sessions.
