[B Teleokaph,] - - Wellington, Wednesday. At the Education Board meeting to-day, Mr Bezar wrote asking his services to be retained as Drill Instructor. The matter was held over. Mr Warbolte was. appointed teaoher at Maurigoyillo East. It was decided to write to Mr Woodroffo informing him that the Boardwould purchase his acre in Masterton for a schoolhouso as soon as funds were available," The scholarship examinations will take place the seooiidweek in November, Inspectors Lee and Fleming to he examiners. Mr Lee brought up a; scheme of technical education, andrecommended the purchase-of apparatus for-the Kindergarten Bchoolfr! also modelling clay plant for teaobing elementary science. He also reooinmeiided that Star readers- Bhould be/abolished in schools, and Longmans school series Used instead, the new Ms to c'oiao intij forest % :
