Ono of the arbitration issues submitted being " Are tho demands of the Typographical Association reasonable," Messrs Whitconibe and Tombs have written to the Association inquiring what these demands are.

It is understood that at a meeting pfjihpFarniers'Oluhi in committee, it was resolved tfiat a telegram of sympathy should be sent to Messrs Whitcqnibe and Tombs, with au offer pf financial assistance if necessary.
