Il&storton v- To Oro OroTho Senior Cup. match. between the two above clubs was played on tbe Worksop road ground on Saturday last, and resulted, as wasgenerally! expected, in a walk-over for Masterton. The ground was in good condition, but rather a heavy wind was blowing. The winning team, captained by Hirschborg, played a Sue game throughout, and succeeded in scouring five tries, two in the . first spell, aad - three in the second,-ono only of which was converted, The scorers' were C. and H, Perry, Day, - Holmwood and Thompson, the latter making ibe run of the day. For the Natives,who were skippered by Kangi, Kara, Simeon, Alick, and " dummy" i played well, and frequently repulsed i their opponents. . The game was played in a friendly spirit throughout, i the Natives, taking their beating in ! good style. Messrs Molvor and ■ Cuokoo umpired for Maatertou and Te Ore Ore respectively, and Mr J, ; Williams acted as referee. 1 Oartortoa y Stars, .. . .
