Frederick Murslund' Hadlield, formerly of the City Hotel, was commuted for trial to day on three charges of forging .the. name of Wm Goodwin to cheques on tho Bank of New South Wales, amounting to LlB2, Joseph Harrop was charged with him, hut was dismissed. All tho cheques woro cashed by thi Bank. There are seven more charges against Hadlield, in two of which Harrop is implicated.
