The Ssnior Cup match between the Greytown and Carterton Clubs, played at Greytown an Saturday, resulted in a win for the former by sixteen points to love. From start to finish Greytown had it all their own way,
The Greytown Five Brigado bent Te Ore Ore by one point to nil on Saturday at Greytown, The game was disgracefully noisy and brutal,
The match, Masterton 2nd fifteen v Greytown 2nd fifteen, was not ployed oq Saturday last,- as the latter team did not put in an appearance. The match w therefore a walk over for Masterton, The match Bod Stars 2nd v Carterton 2nd, was also a walk oyer for the loriner.
The firafc round for the Cup was completed on Saturday, and the position of tlio various Clubs is now as follows ■ Greytown 81 points, ■ Masterton 21 „ Red Stars 2* „ Oniterton ... ~, 1 „ Te Ore Ore ... 0 „
For tho Junior Cup, the Olubs stand Fire Brigade <1 points, - Bed Stars i ~ Te Oro Ore... '3J „ Greytown Carterton 1 „ Masterton 1
The Stars and Fire Brigade will have to play off for the final.
