Among tbo Haiu'oto's passengers are Professor Benton, of' Birmingham, and Mr Harvey, 0,B„ of Sydney, who have been commissioned to proceed to Westport to inspect and repdrt on mining property there. The Hov Mr Gardner has been cited to appear before the Sydney Presbytery on September 9th, to answer the charges preferred against Lira. Tiio Presbjtery deolaro that the church was abandoned by him despite hia resignation.
