' Correspondence inwards from Mr Jellicoe, for Mr James Hodder, re the sanctioning ol a tramway to Mr Price, and asking that the same bo removed 'without delay,-: Mr Stevens movod, and Mr Kaynor seconded, thatilr Price' have notice "to removo all obstructions from the road known as Hodder's lino without delay, , . From Messrs Braithwaite and Acocka, asking for some metalling to be dono on Waihakeke road near Mrj Strawbridge's. Left ,to tho Warden. |
. From Mr D. Cephas stating that he made a mistake in his tender for works 011 Hughes'line, and that the figures should have been £B9 instead of £29, and asking the Board to allow him the extra £lO. Resolved that ;Mr Cephas bavo notice that as.be had made a clerical error fresh tenders will be called for the works, and that his deposit will be returned to him.

Wrtinuioru bridge was read and and adopted. -The Obpirman reported what had beea>fdono in respect to a road to section H in .the occupation of Mr J, A.Renall.Y • The outward correspondence from the letter book was rend and approved, Mr Prico was allowed extension of time for removing the fence . on Waterson'B line. with v the distinct understanding that if the fence was not removed in the given tiuie,uhe Board would do the work at the expense of the owner. Mr Gallon waited on the Board in reference' to a gate erected \hj Mr Jones at Matarawa.. It was resolved that as Mr Jones had been paid by the Board for the use of the gate, if he interferes with the publio (raftio through the saidgate he does so at his own risk. Mr Morgan asked that tenders bo,called for some necessary works in bis ward. Application granted. Mr Dorset asked that tenders be called for metalling on Bristol Boad. Granted. The wardens for; No. 8 AVard were authorised to ijetthe Kaiwhata bridle track ropaired. That notice.be given to Mr P. P. Tancred and other settlers to remove all obstructions. from the roads. Sundry accounts were passed for payment, This concluded the business, and the meeting adjourned* ■ Wliareama Boad Board. A meeting of the Board was held at Blairlogie on 31st January.: Present -Messrs H, Elder (chairman), E, Meredith, G, MoOro, and H. Toogood. Ik was resolved that the names of the trustees in the estate of tho lato Mr John Morrison, Mr William Stickles and Mr Hugh Cameron bo placed oil the rate roil. Clerk was instructed to recover all arrears of rates due to the Board that are not paid after ten days from dato, and that a co,py of this resolution bo forwarded liy first niail to each ratepayer whose rates are in arrear.
