The fourth of the series of comic oporas by this talented Company was given on Saturday when Jja Fjlle de Madame Anqot was played before a large inid ent'jiuajastic audience, Miss Seymour's' impersonation of Clairette was most successful, aud her rendering of the various songs which fell to her lot was thoroughly appreciated, Miss Etliel Maokay.as Mdlle. Lange was simply charming, flervivaoious acting brought down the house. Miss Croft again presided at tho piano with taste and skill. Before the conclusion of the opera Mr Walsl'e took the opportunity of thanking the publio of Masterton for the hearty support given to the

Seymour-Walshe Opera Company during their seasion hero, and promised a return visit on the first opportunity.

SAORED CONCERT, Last night the; Company gave a | saoret concert, - the gathering on this oocasion being equal to ' any previous night, The programme opened with a pianoforte' solo by Miss Crofts, "Gloria," which.was skilfully played and well received. The same artiste played the whole of

the accompaniments in a manner well deserving of notice. Mr Sceats sang ." Nazere.th" arid "When night is darkest" in a capital manner. Miss Seymour's " Ave Maria" (Gounod) and "Vital Spark of Heavenly flame" were magnificently sung, her .pure toiie and correct phrasing giving great pleasure. Miss

Mackay contributed "Tho Better Land M and " Angels ever bright and fair" with perfect enunciation and was recalled for both Bongs. Misses Seymour and Mackay sang a duet "Oh, Saluted Mother" in a very j pleasing manner. Mr TV. Walslie's

in the cradle of the deep" were equally well rendered and received. Tho '• excellent programme was brought to a conclusion by the Company singing Wallace's " Angelus." Present, Messrs W. H. Eeelliam (chairman), W. B. Buick, T. Brown, and J. Stuokey. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed, Correspondence was read from 11 essrs W. loi'db and C.
