Grand Procession.

Dunkdis, November 24,

The work of preparing for tho opening of the Exhibition on Tuesday is being pushed forward with great vigor, and Saturday witnessed a great change in the appearance of the courts. Work was continued till midnight, and with another full day before them the exhibitors will be well forwarded. The appearance of the building when lighted up was very pretty and effective,.and from the hills surrounding tho oitv the whole thirteen acres of tho building appeared as a blaze of light, When the parti-coloured globes are placed on Monday aiid all tho bunting is in position, the various avenues will look very attractive, Bunkdin, Monday. The heavy rain which fell yesterday and this morning will soriaualy interfere with tho success of the outdoor parts of to-morrow's function. It is not raining so heavily now, and there is a prospect of the weather clearing. Among the numborß of persons who are expected to take part in the display, are the Seameiiß' Union, 400; agriculture implement makers, 80; combined brewers, 100 (with 15drays); inn and brass moulders, 80; wharf laborers 400; Independent Order of Oddfellows, 150: Hibernian Society, 100, tailors, 50. These returns give: a total of £1,865, but as the estimates from the majority of Friendly have not yet been received, it may be expected 2,000 persons will take part. There will be a lorry containing iinishod implements for agriculture, lorry with wheelwrights actually engaged, in, SO. work of constructing harvesters, a lorry containing models of various implements, and a lorry containing a display of browing materials, while Federated Seamens' Union will oxhibit a lifeboat. The oartors oxpeot to liavo 22 vans and vehicles 111 tho procession. The Druids will make a most imposing display.
