Correspondence.

No Rabbits. (To the Editor.) Sir,—A great stir and interest has of late been made with reference to the increase of rabbits in the Wliareama district and North Wairarapa geiierall", Now, a few days ago I had occasion to travel through that district, and much to my surprise during the whole of my trip, including going and coming and some miles along the sea 'beach I only saw three rabbits, and those just in theduskofthe evening. Eighteen months ago, when 1 travelled through the same district, they were too numerous to count. Apologising for troubling you with aboyo experience which may, however, be of interest to some of your readers.—l am, &c., F. H; Wood. |
