Messrs Freeman E. Jackson and Go's Johnsonvillo report:—A short supply of cattle was yarded yesterday, tbe quality being fair only, in some cases indifferent, A good demand existed for all offered, which Bold readily at an advance of 2s 6d per 1001b upon late rates, An average number of sheep were penned, consisting principally of wotbers, which wore from light to moderate weights, The ewes were prime. Nearly all the sheep were shorn. Lambs, equal to requirements, sold on a par with late rates. A large entry of pigsporkers aud baconera—sold freely, stores at decidedly lower values. Cattle -Bullocks fromLS 17s 6d to LG 17s Gd,avoragesL6Bs fid and LG Gs Bil. Shedp—Wethers, in wool, 14s to 14s 4d; shorn, 8s 8d to 9s 3d; fat ewes (shorn), 10s Gd to 10s lOd; lamb?, 7a to lls fld. Pigs.—Large baconers, L 2163 6d to L 8 ss; others, L2 2s Gd to L2 14s Gd; large porkers, 21s fid to 2Gs; others, Ms Gd to 17s; strong stores, 18s Gd to lGs; others, 6s Gd to lis Gd, Ox beef ranged from 17s to 18s the 1001b; wether mutton, shorn, 2d; ewe do, per lb respectively.
