The Queensland Government favors the proposal of Sir Henry Parkes to bold a Conference respecting responsible Government being granted to Western Australia. The proposal is opposed by Victoria on the ground that delay would be fatal. Sir Henry Parks persists that a Conference is the best means of obtaining the desire of the sister colony.
