They expected to have to move the adjournment yesterday morning, but the stuid made by Messrs Joyce and Taylor (whoiield the floor from a quarter past i this morning till a quarter-past 5 in the evening) enabled them to keep that motion in reserve, and it will probably be made early this morning, The party feol assured also, that they will be able to conduct tho present debate and the discussions in committee without infringing tho Standing Orders. They number now about 29 good men and true, who are righting, as they say, for a great principle, and will, in committee, move amendments which will bo valid and reasonable, and in no respect frivulous,
About 5 a.m. the Stouewallers were drawn behind their last line of defence at the present stage of the Representation Bill and Mr Larnach, seconded by T, Thompson, moved the adjournment of the House. Mr Fish began speaking between 6 and 8 and still continues (noon). Opposi-
tion have about 150 amendments to propose in committee which'stage will probably be reached late oil Monday at present it is intended to adjourn at about 11 p.m. until Monday morning.
