The House mot last night. The Ward-Hislop correspondence was laid on the table, A discussion took place on a breach of privilege by certain newspapers publishing the correspondence before it was produced to the House, Tho Premier denied that the Government had in any way supplied or assisted to supply the information to the papers. A motion by Mr Fish that the article in the New' Zealand Times be read by the Clerk caused considerable discussion, and was finally put and lost on the voices.
