At a largely attended public meeting here last night, resolutions were passed in favor of the completion of the link between here and Eketahuna to complete tho Government line from Wellington to fiapier; advocating the opening of the road between this district and Pbliangina; and the abolition of tolls in the Mauawatu Gqrqe'.'
