Tho lessee of the Thoatro Royal informs us that he is negociating for the appearance of Professor Wyburd the acrobatic skater at an oarly date. The fallowing Wairarapa Exhibitors were successful in taking prizes at tho Wellington Poultry show yesterday viz. Messrs Walker and Elkina, 0, Anketell, W. G. King, Wilton & Bannister and W. H. Hosking. A meeting of the General Committee of the Masterton Horticultural Society was held last night. There was a very good attendance, Mr W. G. Beard, tho president, occupies the chair. The, report of tho Programme Committee was handed in, They recomraonded that the amount given in prizes should bo reduced in certain instances, and as a sot of! tho ontrancefeca to non-mombora should be sixpence each entry instead of ono shilling.
