Hokitika, Juno 10. ■ A little child named Henderson, while playing with other children, lit afire, and the.flames caught her dress. She was greatly burned, and died a day or two afterwards, Mr H, Diedrichs, .& well-known runbolder, broke his leg. His horse stumbled- and fell at Waitaha. Ho bandaged his leg up and'.rode 15 miles to Eoss Hospital. Tlie'bandaga was too tight, and the leg was greatly swollen. The extent of tho injury is not yet ascertained. '.- David Evans, a miner at Green: stone, while cutting timber,' fell into asawpif Bft deep arid broke four of his ribs. His case is considered serious,
