The Auckland North Licensing Committee have again adjourned until the 20th instant,'their decision in the case of the Aurora, Clanricarde, Shamrock, Wharfj Eagle, and Fores- , tors' Arms' Hotes. This is the case in which it was alleged the prisoner obtained sums of moneyby showing what purported to be a copy of a cable message, from .'London intimating that he had come into possession of a fortune of over £12,000, and the accusation was that no such message had been received, The evidence,. however, was not sufficient, and Jaggar was acquitted.
