Bankruptcy Meeting.
The first meeting of creditors in the estate of W. H, Robins, of Masterton, cabiuetmaker, was held in the Old Court Room, Masterton, before Mr W. Sellnr, Deputy Official Assignee. 'l'ho statement showed unsecured liabilities £116; assets, stock-ih-trade,£7o; surplus from secured creditors estimated to produced £SO. The principal creditors are: Wellington—Manttan, L 25 14s 4d; H. Fielder, L4210a lOd; R, Martin, L 5. Masterton—W. Burnett, L 25; Williams aud Barker, L 9; McGregor Bros,, Ll2; W. 6. Beard, LI Is, A quorum of creditors was present. Mr Manttan proposed, and as proxy I for Mr Fielder,. seconded that the bankruptcy proceedings be annulled oil promissory notes from the debtor for 15s in the £, payable in from eight and twelve months being given. The motion was carried. The Official Assignee signified tlmt a special meeting would be called to confirm the motion, and when that was done, the necessary stops would be taken to annul the bankruptcy.
