Correspondence.

Water on the Brain. (To the Editor.) Sir,—A good deal has lately ken said about a deputation from Featbereton haviug waited upon the Mayor in connection with the water supply question. To remove all misapprehension upon the subject, I may explain that there has been no deputation of the kind. All the ground there is for making suou a statement is that Mr Eonall and Mr W. Oundy of Featherston, had a usual conversation upon the Masterton supply on Saturday afternoon, and that Mr Cundy said he thought the supply was a good thing.-I am, <L'C, Fact.
