The show of rams was the largest yet held.in the Wairarapa, .and the quality was a decided improvement, taken all through, on any previous year's exhibits. Several lines were absent from the Fair consigned from distant parts of the colony, notably a line of forty Lincoln rams from Mr J, Eeid, of Oamaru. This lot arrived in Masterton to-day, just tw"enty-four hours too late. Out of 813 entries 700 lots were sold, only a few aged rams failing to find purchasers, The attendance of buyers at the yards was vory large, including representatives from all parts of tho Colony.
