WOOL SALES.
London, January 29. At the opening of the wool sales to-day 9400 bales were catalogued; three-sevenths of which came from the Cape. There' was a largq attendance. Medium merino averaged a halfpenny lower, Good qualities are unchanged, Fine crossbreds are a halfpenny higher, medium unchanged, A quarter of a million bales will bo available for this series, -
