At a meeting of tho North Wairarapa delegates of the Wairarapa llugby Utiiun held on Saturday eveniin; last, Mes9rs S. von Stunner, J. Hcssey, and Walter Perry were appointed a deputation to wait upon the Park Oval authorities with a view to obtaining tliu use of the oval for the approaching Englaud-Wairarapa football mutch.
Messrs G, IT. Smith, W. Hirschberg, aud A, D'Arcy have been elected a North Wairarapa representative match Committee, to pick the North teams in the North and South contests,
The Te Oro Ore Football Club havo challenged the first fifteen of tho Masterton Club. The match will tako place oil tlio Masterton Club's Ground on Saturday, 18th inst.
The Secretary of tho Wairarapa Union has written to the Wellington Union with a view to arranging a Union match, Wellington v. Wairarapa before the England-'Wairarapa match.
A match lias beon arranged between the socond fifteens of the Rivals (Carterton) and Masterton 01ub3 to take place at Carterton on Saturday next-, Tho Masterton team wiil appear in to-mor-row's issue.
