London, July 25, _ During the discussion the' Commission Bill, Mr J, Chamberlain said tlie apparent reluotauco to face a full enquiry had shaken his opinion of Mr Parnell's integrity, though lie believed him to be innocent.: He urged that the enquiry should be most complete, in order to remove any shadow of doubt of Mr Parnell, or any of his party, being connected with the outrages. • •
Capetown, July 23. . Information has been received from Zululand that a native column, under Major M'Kean, is marching to attack Souidelis, one of Dinizulu's strongholds, and afterwards will join the second column at lioujeni in making a combined attack on Cega, which is held by Dinizulu, London, July 25. Robert Campbell warns the public against tendering for the Otago Dock Trust Loan of £75,000, tenders for which close to-day. In' his letter he warns financiers that the loan is not guaranteed by the Now Zealand Goment, and also that the amount is insufficient to complete the work! : He further states that the revenue to be derived from tlm working nf the dock would neither pay interest ,on the amount borrowed nor the working expenses.
