The following team will represent North Wairarapa in tbe Wairarapa Rugby Union match, North v South, at Carterton on Saturday next, July 28th;—Back: D'Arcy; three-quar-ters : P>mi, G. H. Smith, O. Pelling, Hounslow; forwards: 0, Bannister, W, Day, P, Perry, Tlioinas, Jggulden, Geo, Welch, W, Welch, Emergencies; Baoks: R, Thompson, E, Felling, Wallace; Forwards: 0. Percy, Simeon.

[To the Editor,] ■ ; Sin.—ln. your issue under date of the 23rd inst., appears a roport of the' Greytown v. Carterton Rivals second fifteen match played at Carterton on Saturday last. Your correspondent says with truth tlwt tho match resulted in favor of tbo Greytown toam by a goal and a try to nil"; and adds'that " The Carterton boys (?) played manfully, and although the Greytown team beat them, it is nothing to their credit a3 they had four senior cup players in their team." Now Mr Editor, I wish to state that the Greytown team wis a bona fide second fifieon, and that the statement niade by your correspondent was an erroneous ono. Wo certainly had one man playing for us who has played in a senior cup match, but did nob tako part in either of the last two oup matches against Carterton and Masterton.
