Chribiohuboh, July 19. -I The glove fight between Ellis, of Wanganui, and Hopwood, of London, E at the Theatre Boyal to-night, was an f easy win for the former, who knocked the Englishman out in two rounds. A young girl named Mary Sullivan suffered serious injuries to-day through her dress catching fire while she was engaged in the kitchen. BuV, for the. prompt action of Mrs; Williams, with whom she is.living as servant, the girl would have been burned to death. - x
