CORRESPONDENCE.
(To the Editor)
Sir,—Having to walk to and from Kuripuni to Masterton work every day, I find it very inconvenient durinj; this rainy weather to get along the footpath opposite Mr George Arnold's residence, at Kuripuni, owing to the largo quantity of water that accumulates on the side of tho road and on the footpath. It is. to get ■along.'without getting over your boot tops in water. The water runs from the • centre : .of the uiain road over, (Ho footpath, and into tho premises adjoining. . I think it is necessary that the Borough Council should takei active Btppa to stop this very unpleasant nuisance as the school children from Kuripuni have'to wade this " little river," arid sitin school the reßt of .the day. with wet feet. Hoping this will not take up too much of your' valuable space and trusting that.the-Bprough Council "will see to it .before thb footpith gets washed away. v lam, ie., ! Wet Ffer.
