A Drowning Case.
Invercargill, Tuesday. The body of a man was found in the Mataura Eiver to-day. It is supposed to be a man named Jameson who disappeared from Gore after committing an assault on April 3rd, and whose coat was afterwards found in a hedge. The body was fully dressed except the coat.
