FOOTBALL.
The following will represent the Rivals in their match with Mastorton to-morrow:—J. Moore (back); Usher, R. Kembie, and Snodgrass (threequarters) ; Baumber and T. Kembie (halves); and lleid (captain), Moore, Smith, Tyler, Eagle, Eaton, Nicholson, Fairbrother, Richmond (forwards.) Emergencies—Nicholson, McKexn;ie, King (forwards), Parker (back), The match will start at 2.30 at Carterton. The following will represent the second team of the Rivals in their match with Te Ore Ore the same day: —Bennett, Parker, Nicholson, King, McKenzie, Reading, Kilminster, Meyricli, Kiddie, Greeks, Armstrong, Eaton (2), Sargent, and J. Catt. Emergencies—C. Goodin and Oates, The match will be played on the Mastorton Club ground, Worksop road.
The secretary of the Wellington Rugby Union has received a letter from Lilywhite, saying he expects to play return matches in Auckland on September 8, and Wellington, if possible, September 19.
The following are the fixtures f'oi Warbrick's team:—Hawlies Bay, 80tl June; Auckland, July 7; Wellington July 17; Chnstchurch, July 21 Dunedin, July 28th.
Auckland, June 7,
The Auckland Rugby Union have decided that the Auckland representatives will play Warbrick's Native team on July 7, and leave a fortnight later on a tour through the Southern provinces, when they will probably meet Taranaki, Otago, Canterbury, Wellington, Hawkes Bay, and perhaps Nelson but the programme has not been definitely arranged.
