The following are the results of the judging distance practice at Carterton on the 21th May, 16 points being the possible, with 8 answers, Name of Corps Men Exercised Average
GItEYTOWN. Private lliggius 19, Hayes 13, Lieut Porrett, Bugler Hobman, and Private Haycock 12 each. Masterton. G. Bantley 13, Privates Langton, Vile, Haines, Ward and Freeth 12 each, Sergt. Kibblewhite 12. Caiitekton. Privates Hooper 14, Sergt. Fairbrother 13, Private Blomquest 13. Papawai. Captain Jury 14, Sergt. Isaacs, and Private Pou. Manihera 12 each. Featiierston. Sergt Marsh 16, Corporal Whiteman 14, Private Jos, Tidswell 13, Private Crawford 12.
It will be noticed that Sergt. Marsh of the Featiierston Corps made the possible. His team lias also the honor of having the only man who failed to score a point.
