LAND BOARD.

The Wellington Land Board met oil Thursday last. Present-Commis-sioner J. W. A, Marchant (chairman), Messrs Beetham, M.H.R., W. W. McCardle, aud D. 11. Macarthur, M.H.R. Applications to transfer were approved as follows: —Mr H. Cooper, section 6, Block XV., Mangahao, to himself and his brother R. Cooper. Mr G. D. Rennart was granted permission to capitalise on section 58, Block 1,, Makariri, The application of Mr J. Hughes to be allowed to complete title to 15t$, Block VI., Kairanga, was approved. Applications were received from the selector of section 12, Block 111., Makiriri, and from the selector of section 1504, Block X., Kairanga, for time to make payments in arrear. .In the former oaae no action was to be taken if payments were made soon, and in the latter the applicant was to be requested to pay up at once. Messrs D. Sheehy and D, Thomasen applied to have small run section 145, Block X., Mangaone, offered as a deferred payment section at 17s.
