IT is hereby publicly notified that a declaration has been made, and duly lod?ed with me, the undersigned Resident Magistrate, by six Electors and Ratepayers of the Masterton Road Board District, wherein, it is declared that tlio poll taken on the 26th day of April, 181 under the provisions of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1886." on a proposal to raise a loan of eight hundred pounds for making a road in the Rans;ituinau Block, the payment of which is to be provided for by means of an interest and sinking fund —raised by a special rate to be levied on a portion of the Masterton Road Board District, is void on the ground that certain irregularities mentioned in the said declaration which occurred in the proceedings taken on the proposal to raise such loan, tended to defeat tho fairness of the poll so taken as aforesaid. _ And it is hereby further notified that it is my intention to hold an inquiry into the matter alleged in the said petition, on MONDAY, the 21st day of May, 1888, at two o'clock in the afternoon, at the Resident Magistrate's Courthouse, Masterton, at which time and place all persona concerned in the said inquiry are required to be in attendance, A copy of the said petition may be seen at the Resident Magistrate's Office, Masterton, or at the Office of the Masterton Road Board, Masterton.
