The Carterton first fifteen have challenged the Masterlon representatives to a return match to be played at Mastcrton on Saturday, 19th May, The challenge lias been accepted. The second fifteen of the Wellington Club is coming up to play the second of Masterton ou Queen's Birthday, but the first fifteen of that Club will have to fulfil an engagement with the Christchurch men and cannot come. Mr S. H, Wickerson has, therefore, written to the Unions (Wellington) and asked them to send up a first fifteen instead. A. practice by the members of the Masterton Club will be held to-morrow afternoon at 4.30 on the Worksop Road ground, when as many as possible are requested to turn out, The committee of the Queen's Birthday concert met last night, and finally arranged the programme, which is a very attractive one, and will be published in a future issue.
