Island Bay Racing Club's Autumn Meeting'. The above meeting was held on the Island Bay Course 011 Saturday last, about 000 or 000 people being present. The following are the results of the various events Local Handicap, of 40 sovs.—Cupid 1, Fabrication 2, Giriri 3. Dividend, £8 7s, All the jockeys engaged in this race, with the exception of Avery, were fined £1 each for disobedience to ft he starter. Flying Handicap, of 50 sovs.—Marlborough 1, Little Scrub 2, The Gem 3. Little Scrub and The Gem led until the turn home, where Marlborough won as he liked by two or three lengths. Dividend £2 10s. Hurdle Handicap, of 70 sovs,— Promotion, 1; Orient, 2; Germaine, 3, Dividend, L 3153. Selling Eace, of 20 sovs,—First Water, 1; Sawdust, 2,' Dividend, LI 7s.

Island Bay llacing Club Autumn Handicap, of 200 sovs; second horse, 20 sovs.—Escapade, 1; Miss Dargon, 2; Marlborough, 3, Escapade got a lead of about six lengths, while Little Scrub and Her Ladyship were practically left at the post: Keith kept his horse well at it all the way, and won by two lengths, a head separating Miss Dargon and Marlborough, Beresford was fourth, Little Scrub- fifth. Dividend, £5 15s. Birketb (Her Ladyship), and Keith (Escapade) were fined £1 each for breaking away, and Parrel 1 , (Little Scrub) £1 for lagging behind. » Handicap Hack Race, of 15 sovs.— This was-woo by Gladstone, Te Whiti second. Dividend, Ll2, Te Aro Handicap, of 90 sovs,— Maraorough, 1; Miss Dargon, 2; 3, Dividend, L 212, Consolation Handicap, of 20 sovs,— The Gem, 1; Wakatipu, 2; Miss Dargon, 3. Little Scrub and Germaine led for three-quarters of a milt, after which they died away, and Miss Dargon, Wakatipu, and the Gem went to the front, The Gem won by a length, the same distance separating the second and third horses.
