R.M. COURT.
OARIERTON—SATURDAY. (Before Messrs E, Fail-brother and James Bayliss, J.P.s.) The Absentee Property Case, Thomas Blackwell and Peter Petersen were charged on the information of Thomas Bennett, with wilfully breaking the hinges off a gate and taking the gate away from his property, part section 17, township of Carterton. James Peters proved that he saw the accused knocking the bolts out of the gate posts and pulling the gate down on Wednesday, 28th inst. On the promise of the accused that they would not interfere with the gate in the meanwhile, the case was adjourned to Tuesday, 10th April
