Infected Sheep, H. B. Latham, W, l)ouglas, and J, Perston were each fined 20s, with costs, for offering sheep for sale infected with lice.
Civil Cases, Williams and Barker v William Peacock, Claim £2718s lOd, balance due on promissory note, Mr Beard for plaintiffs. Judgment for amount ana £3l2s costs, Thomas Baylies and J. McDonald (executors under the will of the late Edward Yince) v Daniel Rohde. Action to ■ recover a timber-jack in possession of defendant. Mr Beard for plaintiffs and Mr Pownall for defendant. After considerable evidence had been taken, an order was made for the restitution of the limber-jack with costs against the defendant, «»fw—ai . .
