Messrs Lowes & lorns report the largest Stock Sale of the season at their Masterton Sale Yards yesterday, with a corres ponding attendance of buyers and others interested! The prices of sheep ruled about the average of the last sales prices, whilst oattlo showed if anything a still further downward tendency. There were 0,200 sheep of all classes yarded, and 130 head of cattle. The following are the prices obtained ; -Fat Wethers, Gs Od to lislOd; Store Wethers, 5s 3d to 5s 9d; two-tooth Wethers, 5s 9d; Fat Ewes from 4s to 5s Id; Breeding Ew c s, full mouth, from Is 3d to 3s Gd ; six-tooth and fresh full-mouth, from 2s Gd to 4s; two-tooth Biwes, 4s (id to 4s 9d ; Lambs in the wool, from 2s Gd to 4s ;good shorn Lambs, 3s 9d. Fat Steers, L 4 10s; Medium weights, L3l2s Gd; Fat Cows,' L 3; Store Bullocks, 50s to GOs; 2-yoar-olds, 37s Gd to 475; Yearlings, 253 to 30s; Dairy Cows, 50s to GOa; Store Cows, 20s to 30s. Light harness horses sold from Uto L2O; flacks ranged from L 3 to LG, Small pigs were sold from Gs to Gs Gd. Of Sheep, all were sold except 200 Ewes and lambs; 17 steers were also withdrawn.
