A Great Meteorite.

There is news from Saigon, Cochin China, that a meteorite of great sizo has fallen in the village of Thanh-Due, far from Tayninh. M. Delauney s gone from Saigon, a distance of seventy-iivo miles, to examine the moteorito, and to have it dug from the ground in which it buried itself on falling. Tho Cranbourno meteorite, found near Melbourne in 1801, and weighing four tons, js'one of the largest known, That found in Brazil, weighiig fourteen tons is also one of the largest known. But, it again is far behind the meteoric mass found in 1870 by Nordenskiold, at Ovijak, in West Greenland, Ho found three meteorites there, one weighing four tons, another weighing fourteen tons, and a third weighing twenty-two and a half tons,—English Mechanic.
