Crewe Victorious,
The £3OO Loan carried,
(By special telegram), Pahiatua, February 21. Two polls were taken yesterday, one for the licensing committee and the other for the Town Board loan of £3OO. Mr Crewe ran five 'candidates for the former, and they were all returned viz., Burrows, Wakeman, Aston, Stokes, and Sainton. The loan poll was carried by a small majority. This is the third attempt.
