MASTERTON HOSPITAL.

The Trustees of the Masterton Hospital held their usual monthly meeting yesterday, Present—Messrs J. 0. Boddington (who was re-elected Chairman for the ensuing twelve months), and Messrs W. M. Beetham, Moms, B. P, Perry, B, I), Dagg, and W. E. Paige, Tho previous meeting's minutes were confirmed. The Treasurer reported a debit Bank balance oi £4 17s 2d. A letter was received from tlio Masterton Borough Council, agreeing to allow the use of a meeting room free of charge, Tho privilege was acknowledged with thanks. The following accounts were passed for payment P. W. Temple, £3 3s 3d; M. Caselberg, £1 Os 9d; Walter Perry, £2 Os lOd : L. W. Nicholson, £1 17s 2d; D. Pickering, 3s 9d.

A discussion took place regarding tho reoovering from patients who had left the Hospital, of the amounts duo by them for maintenance fees, the same not being subscribers. It was decided to give final notice to all concerned that the accounts unless paid would be placed in a solicitors hands for recovery, It was also resolved to request thecustodian to get all patients who agt not subscribers to sign on hospital an undertaking to pay the usual fees.
