Mauriceville Road Board.
The adjourned meeting, of the Board was held on Monday last. Present: Messrs W. Jessen (chairmanj, Charles Forsberg, G. Gundersen, and H. W. Jackson. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed, The outward correspondence ms read. The following tenders were received for contract No 14; Anders Andersen 17s 6d (accepted), McMillan & Fredricksen 18s, Peter Madsen £'l9s fid, Boigaard Bros £llss, Dorset & Westbrook £ll7s, No Name £1 19s 6d. t Contract No 15: McMillan & Fredricksen 19s (accepted), T. K. Jacobsen £lss fid, C. Petersen £1 9s 6d, M. O'Brien £1 15s, Day, Bros £1 15s, Henry Stevens £1 16s, P. Nielse&jfil' 16s 9d/ Anders Andersen .-fil'im; Dorset and AVestbrook £1 17s6oTp. Madsen £1 19s, H. Oliristensen £2, J. Carroll £2los, C. Madsen £3 ss. •
Contract No 18: T. P. Girdwood&jjkL (accepted), MoMillan & Fredrieks&T £3 2s 4d, D. McKenzie £4 Bs, Henry Stevens £4 Bs, Dorset and Westbrook ' £4_ 10s, 0. Petersen £4 19s 6d, J, . Roigaard So 2s 6d, A. Anderson £5 , 5s 6d.

The following correspondence was received: From J. Youngson re bridge to his section; from Metahuna Road Board re expenditure of deferred payment thirds. A ballot resulted in the appointment of Mr J, Devonshire as ranger. It was resolved that defaulting ratepayers be summoned forthwith. The Treasurer reported a craliWalance of £IOO 10s M, Accounts amounting to £5 16s Gd were passed for payment. Messrs Gundersen and Jackson were appointed to sign cheques, This concluded the business.
