Wairarapa Jockey Club. A meeting of the Stewards of the Wairarapa Jockey Club was held at Mr W. Hammerich's Greytown Hotel on Saturday last. It was decided to hold the autumn meeting on 16th and 17th February instead of Ist and 2nd March, so as not to clash with the Manawatu Racing Club's fixture. The following programme was then arranged and adopted:— First Day, February 16th:—Hurdle Race, 85 sovs; Hack ■ Hurdle Race, 12 soys; Wairarapa Gup, 75 sovs; Maiden Hack Eace, 10 sovs; Hurry Scurry Hack Race, 15 sovs; Moroa Plate, 30 sovs; Ladies' Bracelet, 15 sovs. Second Day: February 17th:Hurdle Race, 40 sovs; Hack Hurdles, 15 sovs; Telegraph Stakes, 80 sovs; Handicap Hack Race, 10 sovs; Jockey Club Handicap, 50 sovs; Hurry Scurry Hack Race, 10 soys; Grand Stand Handicap, 25 sovs. \

Foxton Races. Foxton, January 24. The Foxton Races were held yesterday. There was a large attendance, and splendid weatker. £2159 was put through the totolisator during the day. The following are the results— Hurdles: Orlando 1, Runui 2, Waiiangi 3; dividend £5 10s. Foxton R.O. Handicap: Germaine 1, Strenuous 2, Tongariro 3; dividend £G 18s.
