AKITIO ROAD BOARD.

A meeting of the above Bfcard was held on Thursday' last. Present— Messrs Baker, Mason, andj Haudyaide, In the absence of Mr Cox Mr Handyside was voted to the oliair. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The Treasurer reported a credit balance in bank £55 5s lid, and the balance for future expenditure £145 19s 9d. Accounts for £39 9s 6d were examined and passed for payment. The Clerk of. works report was read and considered. It was resolved that a cutting- be made on Williams' range on the Aohanga Valleyroadj and;that the money al- i located for the Akitio River Road be. 4 expended in repairs tod improvements That an application be made to the; Cashpoint Road Board for the balance; due to this Board- That the Board's stamp be placed on:the agreement made with Mr Cox, re roads. The next meeting was fixed for the 19th January, 1888.
