COMMERCIAL.
Messrs Lowes and lorna report that at their sale yesterday, air lines entered came forward. The entries in cattle were mostly cows and heifers, with only a few pens of large;,mere, the balance being young cattle. All the lines were sold at about previous rates. In sheep the entries were good, and consequently made an advahce upon lasfc : sales' prices, Horses were very dull of sale, few changing hands, Young pigs sold freely, and more were inquired for, The following are tho prices obtained Forward bullocks, 908 ; medium steers, 60s; small do, 353 to 455; 18-months, 35a j yearlings 23s to 30s; store cows and calves, 40s to 455; cows and heifers, 40s; daiffi' cows, dry, 40s; springing,, 80s; f9T' wethers ranged from 5s 6d for medium to 6s lid and 7s lor heavy ones j ewes and wethers, 4s 6d; good ewes in the ■wool, 7s 6d to 8s 6d; .young sheep, • shorn, 3s to 4s; good hoggets, 8a 6d; old 'ewes, Is 3d to 2s 6d;' horses were nominal; young pigs Gs to 10s.
