Handicaps on Monday, sth December, at 7 p.m. Acceptances for tho samo on Saturday, 17tb December, at 9 p.m. Weights for the Martinborough Handicap. to be declared on the course after the L.V.J.C. Handicap is over, Acceptances for the same to bo made 30 minutes before the raco takos place, The saddling bell will ring at 11,30 a.m. The first race will start at 12 noon slurp. Each race will start punctually at the time appearing on the correct cards of the races. No scratching of horses allowed except through the Secretary, and not later than 30 minutes beforo tho time ot starting. All entries and nominations to bo' made in writing, sealed, and addressed to tho Secretary, Entrance money to he enclosed, with color, sex, namo, ago, pediifreo, and previous performances of tlio horse, namo of the owner and cr lors of tlio rider. No ontry or acceptance will be accepted without tho amount of requisite fees. No nominations, acceptance, or final payments will bo taken after, time named under any pretext ivhatovor No ontry will bo received for any of tho races oxcept upon the conditions that all claims, deputes, and objections arising cut of tho race 3 shall be decided by a majority of the stewards present, or those whom they may appoint, Their decision upon all points connected with' the carrying out of this programme shall bo final, In case of a protest the samo must be lodged with tho Secretary in writing, within fifteer minutes after the race is run, with a deposit of two guineas, s.ich deposit to be forfeited if tho protest is not sustained, The final payment for the L.V.J.C.
