: It has been found that the New Zealand Cup horses started at.the wrong post of the course, the distance run being consequently 80 yards short, .... Mr D. O'Brien, the owner of Gipsy King,, has lodged-a protest, against Locbiel, the Winner of the' New Zealand Cup, on the ground that the horses did not start at the proper place,
