Siß.»rl attended the meeting at the Town Hall, Tinui, and heard the address given by Mr Hogg the candidate for Protection, T, a working man, asked a question or two, suoh as,'' How would Protection lower the price of the working men's tobacco," ? also " How would manufactures do good to laborers in the country districts," ? and also ''if Protection was made law, would the Colonialsupply be equal to the demand" ? To all of such, questions . I did. not receive a bona fide answer..
