(To ,tha Editor.) Sni,—'Whilst admitting that the task of selection of football teams is neither a light or a pleasant one, I cannot refrain from, asking for what reason the W. R. F. U. Match Committee have decided to play T. Moore in the next trial team, and have left out Reid and Fairbrother. I would point out that Moore was not at last Saturday's praotiee, and that Keid and Fairbrother, besides playing a good game'in Wellington, also took part in the last praotiee at Greytown. It seems only justice to those players who praotiee to give' them the 1 preference to those. whs do not. Trusting you can find space for this, I am, &c., , Old Rug,
