To the Editor. ■ Sir.—Mr Joseph J, Smith in yesterday's Star calls me a ' harp struck by lightning,' and denies absolutely my statement that lie gave orders to his committee to persistently howl mo down at public meetings. I may state a number of Mr Hogg's promi™nt supporters told me what I asserted, openly, and that either they or that poor Jews' harp Mr Joseph J.
